This guide will help you cite your documents in using the APA 7th ed. publication manula.

Introduction

The Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA style Manual, 7th ed, 2020) is a set of guidelines to help users format their research papers, credit sources appropriately, cite sources in their papers and construct their reference list.

Remember to always: (1) consult the APA Style Manual, Chapter 10 for many more authoritative reference examples, parenthetical and narrative citations; and (2) follow any specific guidelines from your professor.

Please note that many of the reference, citation and other examples in this LibGuide are taken from the APA Style Manual (7th ed), the APA Style website and others are created for explanatory purposes only.
